Policies and Procedures of the Joe Rush Center
- The Staff of Urban Ministry will provide programming (if requested) in the Work Camp throughout the week. Leaders are expected to be involved with their groups and supervise the group's behavior.
- We suggest that no one leave the Walnut Grove Dorm or Fellowship Hall buildings without a leader from your group knowing of your journey.
- If you make a mess, clean it up. If you see a mess, ask for help and work together to help keep things clean.
- No girls in the boy's sleeping rooms, no boys in the girl's sleeping rooms.
- Please be on time for all activities. Breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. , Lunch at the Work Site at 12:00 Noon, and Dinner each evening at 6:30 p.m. back at the Walnut Grove location. Our goal each day will be to leave for Work Site no later than 8:30 a.m. each morning and return for clean up and meal preparation no later than 4:30 p.m. each afternoon.
- We suggest that all showers be taken in the afternoon—not in the morning!
- At all meals, please stay at the tables until things are cleaned up and any announcements are made and community issues discussed.
