JOE RUSH CENTER FOR URBAN MISSION

1 . Old Work Clothes

•  Old T-shirts (no inappropriate slogans, please)

•  Shorts or pants

•  Tennis shoes or boots (you must have closed-toe shoes at the work site)

•  Hat or bandana

•  Sunglasses

•  Work gloves

•  Sunscreen

2. Toiletries

•  Toothbrush and toothpaste

•  Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner

•  Any other personal items

3. Casual Clothes

•  Pajamas

•  Nice shorts for a night out

•  Anything to lounge around in for evening programs

4. Others

•  Pillow/Twin sheets & blanket or sleeping bag

•  Towels

•  Shower shoes

•  Camera

•  Cards, board games, ect.

•  Bible

•  Journal or notebook and pen

•  Water bottle to take to work site each day

•  Guitar (if you play or want to learn)

5. Tools (We have all of these! If you have them and can donate them, it will add to our supply. If not, that's fine!)

•  Scrapers/ wire brush

•  Paint brushes (all sizes)

•  Paint rollers

•  Safety goggles

•  Mineral spirits

•  Drop cloths

•  Scrub brushes

Please do NOT bring tobacco, incense, alcohol, or other drugs. We discourage the use of I-Pods, DVD Players, CD Players, and other electronic devices. These distract from community and are a hazard at the work site.

THERE WILL BE A FIRST AID KIT PROVIDED AT EACH WORK SITE

THERE WILL BE WATER COOLERS AT EACH WORK SITE
