ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS
There are many reasons people are poor. One is public policy decisions that make it almost impossible to move from poverty to a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Simply trying to live if one has a full-time minimum wage job is rather difficult. To grow and thrive, to have transportation and insurance, to enjoy a home and the other things of life many persons take for granted is simply impossible on a minimum wage lifestyle.

WHAT THEY ARE

COMMUNITY CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS
Already having formed three congregations (two meeting in homes and one at Urban Ministry) this church believes . . . no one who asks for help should be turned away; it is good to question; none of us is qualified to judge the lives of others; a church isn't a building; and life is supposed to add up to something.
