ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS
There are many reasons people are poor. One is public policy decisions that make it almost impossible to move from poverty to a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Simply trying to live if one has a full-time minimum wage job is rather difficult. To grow and thrive, to have transportation and insurance, to enjoy a home and the other things of life many persons take for granted is simply impossible on a minimum wage lifestyle.

COMMUNITY CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS
Already having formed three congregations (two meeting in homes and one at Urban Ministry) this church believes no one who asks for help should be turned away; it is good to question; none of us is qualified to judge the lives of others; a church isn't a building; and life is supposed to add up to something.
